WELCOME TO PACK 403′S WEBSITE

We are chartered by the New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church in New Bethlehem, PA. We meet every Monday night at 7pm, except on those Mondays in which Redbank Valley Schools are closed. Each 4th Monday is our Pack Meeting. Enrollment into Pack 403 is always open, meaning that scouts can join at anytime during the year.

We invite all 1st through 5th grade boys to come and check us out. You can learn to tie knots, set up a tent, shoot a bow and arrow (archery). Have you ever cooked a meal on a campfire? Sent a secret code to a buddy? build a bird house? Play Ultimate? Hike? You do all this and more with Pack 403 and Cub Scouts.

MAY PACK MEETING AND ROUNDUP

Join us for our May Pack Meeting. This is the night where all current scouts travel through the Cub-O-Matic. What will happen? We think we might have fixed the issues we had with it last year, but we need some scouts to test it on. Of course, we’ll play a game or two. And maybe give out some awards :) .

We’re also inviting anyone and everyone who might like to become a Cub Scout to join us this evening to learn more of what Cub Scouts is about and then sign up for our summer of fun. Join us at 7pm for our May Pack meeting at New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church – 403 Penn Street, New Bethlehem. Download the flyer here: Spring Roundup 2012

Interested in Joining Cub Scouts and Pack 403?

We realize that summer schedules are all over the place with vacations, baseball, soccer, football, etc, but that’s the great thing about scouts. You don’t have to make it to every meeting or event to be a part of the Pack. Your scout can move at his own pace. And as long as he learns and remembers the Cub Scout motto, “Do Your Best”, he will succeed at being a Cub Scout.

Cub Scouting is a year round activity and to start in the summer is a great way to see what scouting is all about, Fun with a Purpose, for very little cost. There is only the registration fee of $15 to be paid at this time. This fee covers insurance and administrative costs for the National Boy Scouts of America. There might be additional costs associated with a couple of our summer events, but it typically revolves around food cost and is usually very minimal (less than $5).

During the summer we do everything as a Pack, typically on a Monday night or Saturday. When fall rolls around, and school starts again, we begin our normal schedule. This includes meetings on Monday nights at 7pm and typically a field trip once a month. The only difference during the normal schedule is that we meet only meet as a Pack on the fourth Monday of each month.

If you are interested in joining, please call Tim Dixon at 724-954-9738 or attend our May Pack Meeting and Roundup for more information. Download the flyer here: Spring Roundup 2012
